OmniSystems has been awarded a contract to provide professional, technical and related services, and maintain a vehicle registration/titling and driver’s licensing system for the Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles (VIBMV).
The system will be designed to accommodate unified operations on each of the three major islands: St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
OmniSystems will provide the hardware and software required for the system, plus necessary training to the staff to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the system.
The system will include the following key components:
- Driver’s License
- Enhanced Security Features.
- Card Design and Production.
- Secure Central Issuance.
- Vehicle Title and Registration
- Manage Registration, Plates, Permits and Fleets.
- Track Vehicles across multiple owners and transactions.
- Insurance Management.
OmniSystems will also install and maintain a full disaster recovery system and provide support for the term of the contract.
