OmniSystems, Inc. is proud to be one of the sponsors of the 2017 General B. O. Davis, Jr. Golf Classic organized by the East Coast Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (ECCTAI). The Golf Classic not only recognizes the groundbreaking accomplishments of the World War II heroes, the Tuskegee Airmen, but also supports the education of our youth. The tournament contributes significantly to the provision of Educational Assistance Grants for youth in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and awarding college scholarships.
The Tuskegee Airmen made significant contributions to the outcome of World War II by escorting B-17 bombers, shooting down enemy aircraft and giving their lives to preserve our freedom. They achieved these accomplishments in the face of oppression. In recognition of their bravery and sacrifice, President George Bush awarded the Tuskegee Airmen collectively the Congressional Gold Medal in March 2007.
It is this legacy that we aim to continue by mentoring and encouraging our youth to become the next generation of aviation and aerospace pioneers, or whatever they choose to become.
OmniSystems also congratulates its team for a second place finish in the 2007 ECCTAI Golf Classic. The OmniSystems team included, Reginald Vigilant, Chief Operating Officer, Walter Batts, Director of International Affairs, and Robert McGeehan, Production Operations Manager.
